Detailed itinerary:
Day 1 : Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
09:00 P.M Pick up at the lobby of the hotel in Hanoi transfer to Hanoi Railways Station for the night train to Lao Cai.
Accommodation: 4 berth soft sleeper train cabin.
Day 2 : Lao cai – Muong Hum Market – Love Waterfall – Tram Ton Pass – Sapa (B,L,D)
Early arrival in Lao Cai, at the Chinese border, you will meet your local guide and driver as soon as you check out the station, freshen up and breakfast before taking an hour drive through scenic countryside to Muong Hum. Arriving at the market at about 09.00Am, joining the locals for the market activities. It is here at this market place where you can see and meet the most diversity of ethnic minority peoples living in Lao Cai Province: The four H’mong sub groups: Black, Flower, Red and Blue; Red Zao, Black Zao, Zao Tuyen; Ha Nhi; Zay; Nung…You will realize easily women from many different groups by watching at traditional costumes they wear. The Zay wear black trousers, pink or blue blouse or shirt with a woolen headscarf, the Flower H’mong and Red H’mong wear colorful skirts which decorated with thick red and yellow embroidery on the batik patterns, silver ear rings and necklaces while the Black H’mong choose the simple indigo color with light decorative embroidery…
Time has passed away fast and the market coming to an end. Let’s sit down on a large and flat rock by the river to relax and enjoy picnic lunch before being transferred to Tram Ton Pass where you can enjoy the fantantis scenery. Then we will have a short walk along the Hoang Lien National Park to visit one of the most beautiful watefall in Sapa that is the Love Waterfall. Get on a car for being transferrred to Sapa Town, check in the hotel.
Day 3 : Sapa – Off beaten track to Muong Hoa Valley – Night Train to Hanoi (14km trekking, 4-5 hour trekking) (B,L,D)
Departure from the hotel at 09.00 am for a short road transfer out of Sapa town to walking path. Then we star to walk along a large path for 2 hours uphill the Den Thang range. Reaching to the top, great view of the Fansipan Peak and the stunning Muong Hoa Valley opens wide in the sight as the trek approaching to Hang Da Village of the H’mong which sits at 1,800m hill-top and over looking down the Muong Hoa Valley. Explore the village and then lunch break. For almost an hour after lunch, the walking path sneaks on high elevation and offers amazing panorama of Muong Hoa Valley. Then getting downhill through several H’mong hamlets of the Hau Thao Commune which scatter on steep and rocky mountain side. There are chances to see different process making fiber from hemp: Spinning, weaving,…in these hamlets.The walk end at Red DzaoVillage of the Giang Ta Chai Village in the late afternoon. Get on a car for a transfer back to Sapa for your shower and dinner before being transfer to Lao Cai for your night train to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi Arrival .
Arriving in Hanoi at 05:00 A.M, you are picked up then transferred to your hotel .Ends the tour.
